Hull and Deck
Hull: Sandwich construction, single direction (Kevlar) and co-axial glass fibre and aramidic fibre sandwich with closed cell expanded material at core. Glued to core using vacuum bag technique.
Deck: single direction and co-axial glass and aramidic fibre sandwich with variable density closed cell expanded material at core. Teak decking, original 10mm.
Bulkheads and structures: bulkheads made form single direction and co-axial glass fibre with variable density closed cell expanded material at core; Kevlar reinforced some reinforcement in carbon fibre.
Rudder blade: same lamination as structure, rudder shaft and blade structure in titanium.
Lamination: by hand with vinyl-epoxy resin in controlled atmosphere building.
Hull finish: Dark blue Awlgrip painted hull, with cove line in silver. Coachroof painted in Awlgrip in silver grey.
Superstructure in blue Awlgrip with silver line. Deck and cockpit lined with 10mm teak.
Hull and deck joined with stainless steel screws, glued and laminated.
Bulb keel: alloy of lead antimony with structures in stainless steel.
Furniture and bulkheads covering: furniture build in balsa sandwich covered with marine plywood, and with a teak veneer of variable thickness.
Interior trim details in carbon fibre including companionway steps and inlays to saloon.
Galley area: finished in carbon fibre.
Bathroom areas: in carbon fibre.
