MIDLANDIA was built following the strict regulations of the Maritime Coastguard Agency (MCA), the British body that verifies the safety of pleasure boats. It has also been certified in the top category by the Lloyd’s Register of Shipping, which has checked each stage of its construction (+100 A1 SSC, Yacht, Mono, G6 LMC). Additionally to the above, the Helicopter can be landed and kept on top with no stability problems. The double-height engine room can also be accessed via a corridor running through the crew’s quarters. All the control functions are located in a separate sound-proofed and air-conditioned control room. There is a hand-lathe in the engine room The Yacht has bullet proof windows in the guest areas and on the Main and Upper Deck.
